Many office workers spend up to 80% of their day sitting. This results in postural imbalances and holding patterns that can create chronic pain. Sitting is an unnatural position for the human body. We were designed for walking and running. The chronic imbalance created by sitting means that the muscles are constantly being used to fight gravity in an unnatural and inefficient way--an exhausting task over a long period of time. Consequently, poor posture and bad workplace ergonomics can lead to a variety of issues.
